We cannot give a snow guarantee, but we have definitely had a lots of it recently.

Tracks for cross-country skiing on top of Kullstaberget in Hammarstrand open at the end of November.

The ski slopes at Kullstabacken open for Christmas and Jack Frost does not leave until some time in April.

Skiing on Kullstabacken, Hammarstrand

The area around Kullstabacken has everything you need, with varied ski slopes and sledging slopes.

The lift´s capacity is 1250 people per hour and we rarely have queues!

The vertical drop is 220 meters and the snow is well groomed; we also have a ski school, ski hire and a cafeteria.

There are lots of activities on the slope during the winter, such as treasure hunts, ski races and masquerades.

round Kullstabacken

A few hundred metres from Kullstabacken is something a little unusual - a luge track that has hosted both the European and World Championships!

If you dare to give it a go, you will not only be rewarded with a diploma, but with an adrenaline rush as well. Past the luge track, you come to the cross-country skiing centre, which has well-groomed trails on vast, pristine snowscapes. 4 or 7 kilometres.

If you want to ski in the evening, there is a lit trail close to the foot of Kullstaberget.

More Winter Activities

If you don´t want to ski on trails, or if you prefer snowmobiling, we have many kilometres of groomed snowmobile trails.

These go to pleasant wind shelters, good fishing waters and give you the chance to see some beautiful scenery.
